Welcome to the careers section of our website. PSP Lab is constantly searching for exceptionally talented people that are willing to become regulatory compliance consultants in the payment and electronic money services sector. PSP Lab is a highly specialised boutique firm with a unique value proposition based on the multi-disciplinarity of our team members. We are looking for ambitious and self-motivated individuals for several positions that are detailed below but firstly let’s speak about what our ideal team member should represent.

About you

We are looking for candidates willing to pursue a career in the regulatory compliance consulting industry in the regulated PayTech sector. To be a good fit for FinTech regulatory compliance consultant job at PSP Lab, you must be a motivated, self-organised and disciplined person who knows how to work independently. Thus, we are interested in finding people who love flexible working hours, planning their own time and can adhere to the tight schedule for deliverables.

Our ideal team member is a person who can structure their work, create a set of tasks to tackle a complex problem and adhere to the task completion deadlines. We prefer working with people who are proactive and innovative, and rather than waiting for the next assignment to come by, take ownership and implement new ideas. Ideally, you should be able to think about what is beneficial for the firm and make suggestions.

While we don’t control anybody 24/7, we do not tolerate missed deadlines for any reasons, except for those that are beyond your control (e.g., sometimes it’s a client’s fault, but it doesn’t mean that you should not remind the client to move on). On many occasions, we’ll have plenty of deadlines within one week and you must be able to organise the workload yourself and set priorities.

Current regulatory compliance consultant job opportunities

To get a Junior FinTech Regulatory Compliance Consultant Job at PSP Lab, you need to have some relevant experience in the PayTech sector. Courses and university education can teach only 10% of what we do, the rest comes from research, self-education, and experience. In any case, completion of various legal/regulatory compliance training courses or university program is an advantage as is your experience in legal/regulatory compliance matters.

Relevant experience may include, for example, a work/internship in another regulatory compliance firm, FCA, a PayTech start-up (e.g., an Electronic Money Institution in Lithuania or a Payment Institution in the UK), a transactional banking department of a bank, a payment processing company, etc.

To prosper in regulatory compliance consulting, you must be a good researcher, fast and independent learner. We are well aware that the remote working environment is an obstacle to some individuals’ professional growth- however, you must be aware that it is what you will need to expect. The self-discipline and motivation to grow as a professional are what underlines most of the work that we are doing. To be successful, you will need to undertake a lot of research and have the courage to bombard more experienced team members with meaningful questions.

While the position is an entry position (we don’t take interns), you won’t have any easy tasks. You should be able to break any complex assignment into a mind map and start tackling them one by one in a logical sequence.
